Fall is coming soon here in Western NY. I think I may have worn my sandals for one of the last times today. Last week I saw Halloween decorations out already! Of course, the stores will be bringing out their Christmas stuff soon. The weekend before last we drove to my favorite fried chicken and ice cream shop that will be closing soon for the season. The Naples grape festival is coming and with it, grape pie. Erik loves all things grape, except grape pie. That’s ok, more for me and Real Sig! I see a few leaves starting to turn and I’m wearing a jacket out of the house more often lately (I wear a jacket in the house all the time because Erik likes the a/c on the North Pole setting). I’ll enjoy it all until it is time to pick up all those leaves. I think I will hire that out this year but then again, I say that every year. I hope it is fall where you are or at least you can find a pumpkin spiced something-or-other to get in the mood for fall.
