Yes, I know it is April but Erik and I feel like we are just now starting 2019. The first three months of this year have been a blur and both of us can’t really remember February at all. Of course, who needs February anyway? It’s just a tiny little month where everyone starts breaking their New Year’s resolutions. Starting the year in April is better since spring is here, most days at least. Maybe we’ll start a trend where New Year’s is celebrated in April.

From previous blog posts you probably already know Erik is dealing with Avascular Necrosis of the femoral head (say that three times fast) and that he was wheelchair bound for eight weeks or so. Now he is back on both feet and mostly without a crutch. He can drive again and we have both almost caught up on sleep from the painful, sleepless nights. He is back to writing and I am back to going in to the office more. My work was super and let me work from home for two months straight!

Fingers crossed that the rest of 2019 will be smooth sailing. Happy New Year!
