In a note to Amazon, indie-author Erik Henry Vick said:
“It’s not you, it’s me. Let’s just be friends, okay? I still like you, I just don’t want to be exclusive anymore.”
To which Amazon replied:
“Fine! I want my sweater back! And my blender!”
Ah, to be young again.
That’s right! After a long, back-and-forth deliberation (and this is the Big News(tm) I’ve been mentioning all week), I’ve decided to take Devils: A Collection of Devilish Short Fiction (note to self: don’t make subtitles so long!) out of Kindle Unlimited. I’m now offering Devils on: Kobo, Nook (Barnes and Noble), iPhone, and Google Play Books! It’s taken a bit of work to get there (not to mention a headache or two getting clean epubs generated), but it’s done now. I’m going to give all this a try and see how “being wide” (definition: nerdish indie-author jargon meaning not exclusive to Amazon) works for me. I’ll be moving Errant Gods wide towards the end of the month as well.
To mark the “going-wideness” of this all, I’m putting Devils on S A L E for $0.99 for the next week (on every platform)! If you’ve been holding out, waiting for the next must-buy sale, this is it!
